volume faders

volume faders

I've had the S4 for a while now, and I've searched this a couple times and havent found anything.

I've noticed that the volume fader for the track only really works for the top 1/4. normally on a analogue style mixer, as soon as you press it up, you should start hearing it the track, normally i dont hear the next track come in till its more than halfway up on the s4. thoughts? I've calibrated many times.

thanks

What mixers have you used? Xones are notoriously bad about that, but I don't believe I've use a mixer that had the sound cut in right away

If NI is aware of this, thats pretty weak, Its odd that I never read anything about it when I was deciding one.. I feel like that would be a deal breaker for many, especially trance djs.
it's the way is meant to work, is not a calibration issue.

well thats what im trying to find out, because my S4 is UNLIKE every other mixer i've used.

Mi.lo: fine tuning? what do you mean?

ofc u need a fine tuning of faders when those are near the max.

IMO the volume faders are fine, no different then any other mixer

Have you calibrated the faders?
Harley Zitka

That's just how they are (for now)

I'm guessing they will offer an upfader curve setting adjustment in the next full release, as many people have been asking for it.

thats not right. Sounds like a hardware issue
