Open format DJing with the S4
For the last 20 years I have been predominantly a house DJ. That said my original DJing roots began with Hip Hop. I'd like to play a bit more open format to see what doors open. My issue lies with the offset buttons on the S4 pitch faders. I admit I love the sync button because it allows me to concentrate on programming rather than adjusting the pitch fader. I use tempo sync because I still love to manually match my songs. The issue with the hard programming of the S4 is that the offset buttons can't be used to change pitch range.

So here's the question...How are you guys using sync and changing tempo drastically? Lets say I want to mix a house song with a hip hop song and drop the tempo of the mix but still have a nice blend. What are your techniques? I have seen friends retreat to Sedative but I'd love to keep my S4 to get the results I want.
