S4 Microphone

Hey ive had the S4 for almost a year, so this is an odd noob question.... How the hell do i get the microphone to work? Cant find it anywhere. I plug it in and turn up the volume.... nothing... help?

Root channel 4 to LIVE INPUT and then control the volume with channel 4. Thats how i got around it. Bit shit though if you has the cross fader the the left as the sound wont output. If theres a better way can someone let me know!

disable that channel on the crossfader (shift and turn off one or both glowing fx lights, until theyr both off) or route channel D to aux and use the dial on the front

Make sure you have both the gain on the back and the volume on the front turned on, and one of your decks set to live inputs.
