Correct curing of the sample decks!
Correct curing of the sample decks! Posted on: 04.10.2011 by Maudie Ellars Hey All,I'm wondering if the is a way to cue the sample decks so that they only play the sample while the button is held down and on release, it stops unlike having to hit the button again to stop the play action. What I'm looking to try to do is make them react like deck cues... Any thoughts folks? Is it as simple (well) as tinkering with the .tis file in the controller manager? | |

Desiree Logie 09.10.2011 | OP, unless i misunderstand the question, this functionality is already included in the default S4 mapping, as described in the manual. switch the deck focus to the sample deck. then use hotcue buttons (located below the sample play buttons) to trigger samples in the way you described. |
Kasi Marget 08.10.2011 | Sometimes the hold/toggle option is weird. What you should do is to modify the mapping. Instead of "Sample play" use " Slot Trigger" and it will work |

Alexandra Nerby 07.10.2011 | Button: Hold instead of direct or toggle. I am still on T 1.2.7 but I have mapped enough to know that is probably what you are after. |
Numbers Kovanda 07.10.2011 | I was wondering the samething actually. Any thoughts? Much appreciated! |
