Setting Cue to Beatgrid
Setting Cue to Beatgrid Posted on: 31.10.2011 by Carmel Potash Im a new s4 owner so sorry if this is a silly question...When I set a cue using the 1 of the 4 hot cue buttons, is there anyway of changing that cue to a beatgrid cue from the s4. What I have been doing at the moment is setting cue number one at the start of a beat and then using my mouse to change it to a beatgrid. | |

Charline Dye 02.11.2011 | It is a good tip! Especially if you dont mind losing a hot cue on every track. Just wouldn't work for me as I like havin my hot cues for other uses. I also beat grid all my tracks before using them, so using the mouse is no big deal. Since the OP is new to the S4 I didn't believe adding new mapping commands would be his best route to take either, but it might be just what he is looking for. |

Charline Dye 31.10.2011 | Mouse would be it, but you don't have to use a cue for the beat grid marker. Have the deck in advanced mode, select grid on the left and use the grid marker button on the right to drop one that won't take up a hot cue. |
