Reply to S4 usb connector problem

im sorry if there is a thread that explains this but i simply cant find it right now.

well long story short, the middle orange piece of the usb connector that covers the 4 little prongs in my s4 is missing and therefore i cannot connect my s4 to my computer.

i believe i have read something about soldering it but i really have no idea on how to fix it. thanks in advance.
