Reply to S4 Mic Issue?

Running two turntables and the S4. Control vinyl. So, when I go to the timecode setup, the channel D doesn't no longer read the turntable I have plugged in it when i plug in my mic to the mic input next to it. Yes both are set phono. I even checked if it was the mic because when i unplug the mic it reads the turntable again. Whats up? What am i doing wrong?
