Reply to Need expertise on PA speakers

So after much research. Im deciding to upgrade to a Traktor *Kontrol s2 and purchase some speakers. I plan on getting a berhringer powered 18" sub and a powered 15 inch pa speaker.(1000$ budget) Now what else do i need to make this happen? Does the s2 hook striaght into the speakers, or am i missing a part? If so what else do i need to know or purchase to make this setup work.
