Shift button & Deck switch on S4 glitch Posted on: 23.03.2012 by Xavier Hozey I've been through everything I can see on the community
s and can't find anything on this (I'll graciously accept if there is something!)Has anyone else had this problem? When I hit either shift or deck switch to C or D there is a lag in the track... As I'm using (a slightly modified) version of the Ean Golden mapping, I'm using the shift button quite a lot, and I can hear the lags... It becomes VERY pronounced if I hit shift a bunch of times (yeah, I know I wouldn't be doing it live, but I'm sure it shouldn't be doing it!) Has anyone else come across this? btw - fully updated version, recently cleaned laptop (no erroneous programs) network adaptors off - in full "gig" mode running a 2.4Ghz dualcore (M450 i5) with 4gb ram so spec shouldn't be the issue. | |

Xavier Hozey 24.03.2012 | Nothing to do with Launchpad. No idea how I fixed it. I have had a stressful weekend of cleaning, registry fixing, botching, punching, screaming at my laptop. I'm happy to report that all is now well. No idea what caused the above issue. Now successfully running my S4 with (slightly modified) Ean Golden mapping, and a launchpad with hotcues and MF mapping! FUN WEEKEND! |
Xavier Hozey 24.03.2012 | OK - I have kinda solved this... But it's thrown up a new problem... With my Launchpad plugged in this error presents. When unplugged it doesn't. Best guess the launchpad is sucking power... But my S4 is independently powered - surely this shouldn't happen? |
Xavier Hozey 23.03.2012 | I've just noticed, this also happens when I hit the sample keys, although interestingly it doesn't happen with the hotcue buttons underneath. |
