Reply to NI X1 VS Kontrol S4

So for awhile ive been believeing about selling my s4 and i was believeing about upgrading to a mixer ( maybe the 800 or 900 if i can find some good prices) and they getting two x1s.
but my question is how would i be able to beat match; i dont like synch i dont feel in control of the pace and in general. so without a tempo fader or what not im not really sure how i would beat match in traktor using the x1's.Sorry if this is a stupid question but i looked around for an answer and couldnt find out. thanks ahead of time!
