Reply to midi truntable and TRaktor, need cd time code?

hello every body,
the question is : i have possiblity to buy a numark midi cd turntalbe for a very good price, the Only problem is that it don't accept CD anymore but works well for other functiunalities.
i ask if traktor (i have the Kontrol s4) can remote the DJ midi turntable without cd's timecoded?
for me, if it s in midi , it's like a jog wheels then don't need timecode cd, but i prefer to be sur before buyine the numark.
