Reply to Is it possible to plug in a guitar into the kontrol s2

After looking at Moldover's talk about the Kontrol F1, I got an idea. However, how did he record the guitar? Did he just plug in the guitar into the mic socket in the s4 (i will be using an s2), then record in a software where he can save short tracks e.g. garage band. or, did he have another way, if so, please tell me. Even if he may not use the controller to record, is it still possible to record a guitar? If not, is it possible to buy an adaptor?
