Please help? Problems inside! Posted on: 19.05.2012 by Lessie Palser Hi everyone, I have recently purchased the traktor s4 and krk bundle from this site. After unpacking everything last evening . I went to unstall them today and noticed that The KRK speakers dont come UK plugs and only american ones. I was like okay, so i went and BOUGHT an adapter for this, and guess what, it doesnt work :/ I was hoping someone could shed some light on this situation as i am pretty pissed that i cant get my moniters working :/ I was quite suprised to see that the moniters didnt come with and english plug. considering the shipping adress on the order. Also How do you connect the moniters directly to traktor S4, Thanks. | |

Tatum Ansaldo 19.05.2012 | What he said. You can't expect an American company to supply speakers with UK plugs, make sure they're switched to UK voltage (230V) and ideally buy new leads. They're standard kettle/PC leads, you should be able to get them really cheap online. |
Sylvia Greener 20.05.2012 | Look at the "Main Out" section on the back side of the S4. There you can find RCA and 1/4" TRS outputs. Your speakers have inputs that look just the same. Simply connect the S4 and your speakers via a RCA-cable OR a 1/4" TRS cable. You might want to use the Dual RCA to RCA Cable that already came with your bundle To get your speakers working: You said you bought an adapter. I guess you mean you bought the right power cable. Also make sure you use the right voltage! In the US they use 110V, but in europe 220V are common. You probably should know what you use in your country. Just check out the red voltage switch on the back of the speakers and make sure it is on the right position! |
