Reply to Can I get Traktor 2.5 free?

Not really sure if this thread is really in the right area or not, but here goes anyway.

I bought my S4/Traktor Pro 2 in July 2011 so does that mean I won't be elligable for a free updrade to Traktor Pro 2.5?

One of my mates reckons it's ony if you registered Traktor in 2012.

Can any one clear this up for me please.
