Question. how do you disable the cross fader on the S4 ?

as the title states...
i can turn the crossfader off in the software display but that not deactivating it ?
am i missing something simple ? (a brain maybe)

Oh I see. I discovered this is TP2.. so i thought it was in S4 software as well.

I believe you can do this by doing a simple trick I recently figured out. The trick is to disable all the channel routes to crossfader.

If the crossfader is not visible in your software make it visible by going to "Preferences" and "Mixer" and check the "Crossfader"

Then in your software GUI, disable all the A, B, C, D channels assigned to crossfader by clicking on it. You can find these A, B, C, D buttons on the left & right side of the crossfader.

I tried this and this does not get reseted after traktor restarts.

There is no longer any use for this mapping since they can be permanently disabled. The second post explains how to disable/enable them.

So now you only have to press shift+z to disable it until you want to use it again, correct?
