Jog Effects mapping

Jog Effects mapping
Posted on: 12.06.2012 by Sharmaine Pellino
Hi Djjt,

I've got currently 3 presets mapped to my Jog, but i'd like to map more (Shift + turn jog = scroll trough effect presets, it's the Beaubyte's version for S2)

I'd like to have more presets, but I find it hard to make the mapping myself.
It's not cause of laziness, but I'm just not really into that mapping myself.

Is there anyone who could help me or has mapped more presets already and is willing to share?

Just a normal question, a no is as good as a yes.

It's a huge pain to map more than 3 jogfx. There are too many modifiers at the moment that depend on a 3 FX based setting. So it might be hard to do it yourself. I'm not planning to add more, 3 should be sufficient. If you want other or better combinations in your recent mapping, you can alter these:

To change the JogFX in the beaubryte mapping:

1. Open controller manager from Traktor settings.
2. Enlarge the "Comments" column.
3. Sort the "comments" and find these comments :
For deck A: "JogFX A1, JogFX A2, JogFX A3"
For Deck B: "JogFX B1, B2, B3..)
4. Choose and Change each effect you want to change.

Note: Every first FX has 2 records. So if you change JogFX A1 to delay, you have to change that in the rule below it also. Same goes for JogFX B1.
If you see the comments you'll see it's quite easy.

Let me know if you find any good combo's!
