Leeanna Ayla 16.06.2012 | I would use the main out to go to the mains. The booth out is intended to go to the booth speakers. The main is balanced so it's better for stretching long distances where you might experience interference. The quality is nearly identical except for the ohm rating which has more of a correlation with what speakers you're using for the mains. Here's more on how that switch works as quoted by Thomas@NI
They're totally independent. If you have to sit it to "Main" then both sets of the Master outputs react only to the Master level knob. If you set it to Booth, the 1/4" connectors react to the master knob only and the RCA's to the Booth knob only.
