Reply to help needed! please. sample pads

Hello.
I am running 2.5 with my s4. I dont know how to sort the sample pads to work when playing fast consecutive hits.
The first hit plays the sample and the second stops it.
What setting should I have them on to be able to play a beat?
Its probably something simple but I cant work it out.
please help!
