S4 won't map knobs using Direct mode?
S4 won't map knobs using Direct mode? Posted on: 17.08.2012 by Kathleen Mcoy Hi all,I'm trying to create a custom mapping on my S4 but I was surprised to see that my knobs only seem to work when the mapping is set to Relative mode. If I change the mapping to Direct then when I turn the knob on the device in any direction and amount the knob in the software shows it go hard left and no further movement as I move the physical knob. I also notice that when I put the S4 into midi-mode by pressing Shift+Browse I am not able to map anything. It's like there is no midi being received by Traktor. I've tried mapping with the device in midi mode using a User S4 mapping as well as a Generic Midi mapping. Has anyone else run into either of these issues? Thanks! | |
