Reply to S2 DRM issues

Hey all,
I have had a great experience with a S2 on my mac, love it so much in fact I recomeneded it to a friend. Well he got it and now it is having the dreaded DRM issue. Any track from itunes new or old keeps coming up with the drm fail. His laptop is a Windows 7 with itunes 10.5 and traktor 2.5.1 has anyone figured this out? We need help!
