Reply to s2 and remix decks question

So im starting to try and mess around with the remix decks with my s2. an issue that i found that i do not know how to correct is the "master clock" I tried loading a track in deck a to remix with and the problem was the master deck was set to the remix deck and i could not change it to deck a without stopping the remix deck

what is the best way you guys have it set up?
