I actually own 2 of these - one is the brains of my studio setup and i'm keeping it because it's awesome. The one i'm selling was the brains of my mobile rig when i DJ'd at places where i had to provide my own speakers, mic, dj setup, and a backup ipod. A stand-alone mixer provides a great sense of security if you have problems with your main dj setup in a live situation. you can still play music off of an ipod and use the mic/intrument inputs even if your dj setup decides it wants to act up.

This mixer is also great for a bedroom studio to link all of your devices together into one ultra compact mixer as the "brain" of your studio setup that feeds directly to your studio monitors.
