I started out with a numark im1 i could do scratching on that but its very very very very hard. Now i use the vestax pmc pro 5 3 and its crazy good i use traktor scratch pro and love it. ive tried sl1 ,sl2, sl3, and sl4 but i like traktor better the scratching is the same but traktor takes it way farther with fx. I use the native instruments kontrol x1 for fx, looping, hot cueing, cueing and so on.
I might keep them actually, they are really good. My issue is that they don't stay pitch perfect like CDJS. I know its normal but I often wonder if technics has less of that.

EDIT: TURNTABLES ARE SOLD!

I love them but I don't use them. The 120's are very very close to the 1200s but obviously not quite as nice.

Well they look just like them and have a good motor, but they are mostly plastic. Also Im sure that technics motor is way stronger. But for anything around this price the 120s are the best you can possibly buy imo.

In what ways are they not as nice? I'm looking to pick up something comparable to the 1200's
