vci-100 arcade (self modded) and m-audio x-session pro (SF bay area, CA) Posted on: 18.02.2013 by Treasa Maffucci Up for sale is a self modded vci-100 arcade edition. I bought this unit new about 3 years ago and modded it about 2 years ago, using directions from these community
s. It currently has a bunch of different knobs on it, including rane mixer knobs for EQs, fat filter knobs from an S4, and chroma caps for the gain knobs and faders, as well as the stock knobs for the fx knobs and pitch faders. This vci also comes with a brand new v4 overlay fresh from DJTT, which I installed just last evening
, and is running the 1.4 firmware (also upgraded myself). The buttons are "custom" white on blue buttons using and blue button housing and white plunger, all purchased right from DJTT. I gigged with this vci many times and it has never let me down. The unit is 100% fully functional. I will say that it has some signs of wear, although the brand new overlay did a very good job of covering most of it up and making it appear very new again. The overlays were designed to accommodate slight user error in installing the arcade buttons, and thus have a little bit of area showing between the arcade buttons and overlay (see pictures). This could probably be remedied by coloring in the gap with a thin black sharpie, but is barely noticable, so I decided to leave that up to the buyer. The vci will come with a usb cable only (no software or power cable). Im looking to get $250 for the vci-100, and you pay the shipping. Shipping to continental US only please. IMG_2389.jpgIMG_2390.jpg Next for sale is a m-audio X session pro. This xsession pro has been modded with black plasticdip paint and DJTT croma caps and vestax fader caps. The plasticdip paint gives it a really cool texture and matte color. The controller works perfectly, perfect for a quick portable setup. It will include USB cable and controller. Ill take best offer on this. IMG_2224.jpg | |
