There are hundreds of youtube videos showing how to warp in Ableton. Not that some are better and some are just plain awful.

Yes I forgot to emphasize that if you know the BPM of the track/a cappella/song, set this in Ableton Live *before* you warp. Ableton Live will thank you and do a better automatic warping.

A cappella are a pain to warp. If you know the BPM and know that the whole a cappella starts from the beginning of the track, you could just set the warping based on this info and hope it works.

In most cases you want to chop the singing, anyway, it's a remix or fun mashup, so just isolate the parts you want as clips and adjust the warp values so it works fine (or sounds fine.) Use highest quality warp modes as voices could easily sound wobbly, especially in beat mode which is not suitable for non-percussion tracks.

yeah i watched this guys vid before, but i dont believe it does a good job when it comes to vocals. What if i wanted my Levels for example in this mashup to remain at a constant 128 BPM. Wouldnt i need to warp the vocals to in the air to get them to mash and not the melody of levels. Thanks btw for your help I appreciate it

I did a quick look at:

Pretty good tutorial. But in general for fixed dance music, setting warp points are easy, just key in the BPM in Ableton, load in the track, let it warp, adjust beginning, go to end to see if it' still valid. Save. Done.

I'm sorry, but you lack basic knowledge of musical timing. It isn't just about the two songs you use, but the way you put them together. You should really start this one over

I have no idea. there are a lot of remixes of it i use, but like you said its not on itunes and such

Dunno how much you could really improve, you can't really force tracks together that don't work and these two don't seem to flow too well together. The synths and the vocals are going to completely different rhythms.

On a somewhat related note - was Levels ever actually released and I've just missed it or is everyone that plays it just pirating? Can't find it on any of the usual sources (beatport, itunes. etc).
