Kelis - Caught Out There (Virgin Records 1999) + Camo & Crooked - Far Away (Hospital Records 2011) = Kelis feat. Camo & Krooked - Far Out There (TMW! Bootleg Mashup + Music Video)

This mashup was created in two steps - first the audio mashup was put together and mastered in Adobe Audition. Original wav-files of all the tracks were purchased, including an instrumental mix of "Caught Out There". This enabled the use of phase inversion to cancel out all the instrumental components of the original mix, leaving just the vocals in form of a homemade acapella.Secondly, the twelve-year old music video from Kelis was dug up and imported into Sony Vegas Pro 10 where it was dubbed over with the new mixdown from Audition and treated with velocity envelopes to fix lipsynch-issues. The original song was in 93 bpm but was time-stretched to fit with C&K
