Testing 1, 2: a 2 hour live mix! (stream, DL & tracklist inside) Posted on: 11.12.2011 by Marguerite Salsedo So, after a long day of studying for finals and running around doing errands, I was broadcasting on Mixlr last evening
/ morning (3am to 5am :eek for some of the guys on here who were chillin in the DJTT chatroom and, idiot me, I didn't hit the record button in traktor, but I have the stream so not all is lost. Also my soundcard routing was messed up (my own fault, it's fine now) so I had no ability to pre-cue my tracks.It starts off with some electronica then goes into some deep and chilled out dubstep (seriously even if you hate dubstep you might like it), then some tribal drum & bass and some neurofunk, rounding out with a chilled out tune. Comments, criticism and such are much appreciated. Enjoy! Problems I have with them are mostly minor: sound isolation isn't wonderful, listening cable is a little bit short, coil on the mixer cable is closer to your head rather than near the end of the cable. I've never tried TMA-1's but I've heard good things, but then I prefer over ear rather than on ear headphones. My headphones get pretty heavy use (everyday listening, out and about, on top of using em for DJing) and these are definitely durable though I do try to treat them with care. Hope this is useful (sorry if I've made you decide to get em ) and I hope you enjoy the mix

I have a connection that can get me artist rates on ultrasone products but i just got some TMA-1's recently so didnt really want to spend more money. Do you want to talk me into getting a pair? (please dont...im broke already). |
