Chlorophyll - Incarnate (Original Mix) [Minimal Tech-House] Feedback Appreciated :) Posted on: 23.04.2012 by Chas Giraldez http://soundcloud.com/chlorophylll/chlorophyll-incarnate-originalI fairly satisfied with how it turned out, let me know if you believe there's something I could improve. | |

Listen to some Maya Jane Coles (if you don't already) for a great example of tracks that are subdued and atmospheric, but with a walloping kick - Speaking of the kick, the relationship between the kick and the toms and bass midway through the track (maybe elsewhere too, but it stood out here) was a bit muddy. The toms / bass might need some lows cut and a sidechain compressor thrown on them? Overall, basically, just feels like it needs a little work on the mix and master. But it's a gorgeous atmospheric track with tons of texture and a nice grove. Excellent work. |
