Bit different from what I'm usually trying to accomplish in the studio but decided to give it a try. As the title says, this more for when you're in the headlining spot and just want to keep that energy going and driving.

Still in the rough arrangement stage and this is the first mixdown attempt, so tweaks will be made down the line as I give it more listens.

Nah I agree with you. You can give 100 djs the same 10 songs to mix and noone's mix will be the same.

Its not about what you play, or the gear you use, but the feeling it leaves you with inside.
I didn't use anything special though. If you see my other posts in the production area you can already guess what I like to use.

Loops and sample from a variety of places, guess the most obvious loop would be the vox sample and I scooped that up from Matteo Dimarr's sample pack.

25.05.2012		Well, if you do, maybe groove it up a little. Don't drop the extra kicks as straight as they are now (I'm believeing probably a bit later, but would have to try that out)

25.05.2012		Well, like the general vibe and would probably play it. I would prefer a kick drum with more mid-range presence though. And while it works well when most of the other parts are playing - during the intro and the breakdown (around 3.40) the additional kick which you sometimes put on the 8th between 2 "normal" kicks somewhat throws me off.
