Im currently away from all my gear bar my laptop, when working away I usually bring my DB4 or midi controller in case I want to make a mix tape. Im really motivated to put a mix together atm and was considering doing a rough mix just using trackpad on laptop within traktor.... however I remembered a friend used mixmeister which in this circumstance would far more manageable, I looked at the price and the lightest version is $60... this is something im likely to only use once as I have ableton 8 suit waiting for me at home....so my question is, is there any free or cheaper software out there for producing mixes in this fashion that anyone may reccomennd
