4 deck techno wizardry...

4 deck techno wizardry...

Well, I decided to do something a little different this time round, and use the sync button on my contour. But as I was going to be using that button, I figured I had better try something a little different again. So I used upto 4 decks this time, trying to isolate some sounds with the ISO mode on the DB4, and EQ the shit out of some of the tracks. Now some of them I managed fine, like throwing in basslines here, and kick drums there, but other times it is full tracks playing.

A few times I do have 4 tracks spinning simultaneously, but more often just 2 or 3. Anyway, this is my first real foray into such multi deck mixing so would be great to get some advice. I suspect it sounds a bit muddled in places.

Cheers

The nature of the mixing means it would be VERY difficult to properly timestamp the mix, so you will have to just get on with the tracklisting, lol.

Cheers. Good to get some feedback.

Yeah, I thought I needed more EQ work to get it sounding a bit better. Maybe some infrabass would have helped too.

Not bad for your first go!

Some of the bits sound a bit dull in the kick and bass area.
This is prolly due to clashing EQ Freqs....no biggie!

But yeah....I would keep working the EQ's mate!

But otherwise, well done on keeping it together!

Doesn't sound OVERDONE, if you know what i am sayin.

Would appreciate a wee comment here, since it's my first 4 deck mix, lol. Also, thread rate away...
