Second transition - Mind blowingly good.
Third transition - unfortunately messy.
Fourth (shots -> Turn up the music) - Surprised when it came in (that's good), was working well, but ended sharply.
Fifth (Jackson/Solveig mashup) - Im not fans of these songs so I won't make much comment on the artistic value, but the levels could have done with adjusting.
Sixth - (Crank it up, solveig) - Again, levels here. But you picked a good track, one of Guetta's better collabs, and one that unfortunately didn't take off that hard AFAIK.
Seventh - (Crank it up/Whistle) - Really liked this one, pretty darn good!
Eighth/ninth - I couldn't really separate these when I was listening (good thing!) so I'll lump them together. All works really well!

Again, good mix, people who decide to do clever things with pop music and similar are actually the ones that really stand out.
Thanks a lot dude! It is tricky phase matching Top 40 sometimes but I did my best to keep flow from one song to another!

It is tough to play with this music, just like CountenanT has said above. From experience, I know it can be very frustrating to put something together like you have done, and to execute it well. I believe you succeeded in doing this and what you have posted is a good example of what you can do/cane done with good prep.

I had to out something similar to this together a couple of weeks back, and I must admit, a little part of me died when I had to play some if the tracks that were in it, but hey, it's what most of the general public want to hear!

You're not going to please all of the people all if the time, and on a community where a lot of us are into more underground stuff, or just loathe top 40 stuff, you're gonna find a tough crowd. However, like I say, I believe what you have done is good.

To echo what was said above, some of the levels are tad off, but nothing that cant be sorted and I wasn't sure about the transition from track five to six, but once it settled I believe it worked well.

Keep up the good work :-)
Thanks for getting back to me ThinAir! I'll work a bit more on my levels but I'm glad that everything sounded good otherwise!

The white noise was just an effect I used as a sample.

First transition I didnt like. 2nd transition was amazing! 3rd was kinda ehhh ... 4th was decent. 5th was not great. Michael jackson mashup was great. 6h also ehh .. 7th was great!!! 8th was good. vocals kinda overlapped. I believe u used laser too cover up the transitions too much. The 9th transition was phenomenal. I like the use of the lets go vocal in the transition. 10th transition was off and too sudden. Last transition was good. Overall a decent mix in my eyes. Creative with the katy perry thing. Not sure if that was a mashup or if u used cues. Personally I like for a mix to flow and have subtle transitions. This was not subtle and often transitioned at the wrong time. I cannot tell if u were using vinyl or controller or cdjs. If vinyl props to you. Either way like I say the end result is what matters. If this mix won a contest hey props to you. But in my opinion. this mix was not amazing. And not none of that noob stuff. You said that I expected something flattering. The mix didnt live up to the statement you made. Anyways, good luck and I hope you only see this as constructive criticism. Only trying to help and its just my opinion as I already stated.
