Reply to midi fighter top left light problem!

hi guys i'm a bit new to this as i just got my MF last week but i only got time to play around with it recently.

i realized a problem on one of my MF whereby only the top left button lights up and it doesn't send ay signal on traktor or any other programs. the rest of the buttons work normally though.

i checked this thread out but apparently the solution only works for windows and not on a mac (which is what i'm using).

i've tried running the MF config application as well but the app keeps quitting unexpectedly.

any solutions?

*i tried entering resetting it on a PC using the bricked midi fighter reset guide too but it keeps telling me that the midi fighter failed to reset. am i missing out on something??
