Which mixer and sound card with 2 midi controllers? Posted on: 16.03.2012 by Charlette Graper Hello. I want to make a setup with 2 midi fighters and a mixer. But I really dont know anything about mixers, would a Behringer DDM 4000 be a good choise?Or would a cheaper 2 channel mixer suffice? If not it would be great if someone could recommend a good mixer for this. Preferably an afordable one. Another thing that im in need of , is a external usb soundcard. Currently im looking at the Akai EiE. Its not too expensive and it has 3 usb ports in it which seems prett convineint. IM also considering Traktor audio 6. Which one is "better"? Or if someone could point me to another decent soundcard that would be nice. Thank you. | |

Sammie Okeeffe 17.03.2012 | My first real setup was 2 midifighter and an external mixer. I went with the Allen and Heath xone 22.. very good 2 channeled mixer and has lasted thru 12 club evening s with 5 dj's using it in the evening + daily use at home. For the sound card i went with a Audio 2 DJ.. This was a great cheap soundcard and I still use it every now and again. I have an audio 6 to run my timecode 1200's and it is great but you do have to plug it in to a mains supply. |
