3D Not working in Traktor
Posted on: 08.05.2012 by Reuben Debra
I'm using flashflooder's Traktor mapping and following all written directions. Four bank mode is off hold, its set to Traktor, I imported the .tsi correctly and I get nothing in traktor. It picks up some signals but nothing is working correctly. Any help?

Because the configuration utility uses MIDI you cannot use the Utility and Traktor at the same time.

I suspect you have not set the MIDI IN/OUT to the Midi Fighter 3D for both sections of the mapping, you need to do this after importing the mapping, also you can check that the MIDI base channel is set to 3 in the Utility.

Let me know how you get on!

Try setting up the mf3d with the md utility, than close the utility and unplug the mf3d. Than start traktor, than plug in the mf3d without running the MIDI fighter utility, and Viola it works, atleast that how I got mine working for the show I played last evening . I need to call djtt when I get off of work Friday and troubleshoot it.

Running the latest version of Pro 2, just checked for an update. Deck focus is in software and everything posted on the mapping is being followed. Still no luck after re-downloading and re-importing the mapping.

What version of traktor are you running? Also have you changed the deck focus control to "Software" in preferences?
