Getting MF to send a midi msg when pressed and when released Hello what i want to do is to have the midi fighter send a midi signal when pressed and to repeat the same signal when released. Is this possible and if so how is it possible? Please bare in mind i have FA knowledge on how to program on of these things. The reason i want to do this is because I would like momentary control over the effects in ableton. So that when i press and hold the MF button a effect is activated and then deactivated on release. I have looked at using dummy tracks but this seems like a lot of ho ha as it requires for a dry button that has to be used to deactivated the effect (please correct me if i am wrong on this and if so how to do this properly). Plus it will swap the effect activated effect for another meaning that chaining effects on the MF is not possible. Take it easy | |
