jam on it mapping problems.. Posted on: 17.08.2012 by Ada Matzkin so im diggin the jam on it mapping, fun and intuitive, however im finding some pretty major conflicts:there seems to be alot of wierd things going on but some of the most annnoying so far are these, 1. some effects apply to more than one deck with the fx selector turned off , so for example, when i press all 4 beatmashers (effects mapping 2) on DECK B, deck A also is effected by the tt STOP EFFECT even with deck A turned off. 2. in mapping 2 , when you press all 4 beatmashers, the combo effect only gets applied SOME of the time, the rest off the time you get treated to the 64th note beat mash or whatever it is, which sounds bad. there are actually all kind of funny things like these going on, but im not going to go on about them yet. NOW i did make sure to import the mapping twice, and most of the effects seem to work SOME of the time, but like i said it feels pretty buggy all in all, which surprised me. is anyone else running into any of this? | |

Kellie Myrum 06.09.2012 | It's a bit complex tsi to start learning mapping from tho... I could probably help you with this but I don't have 3D to check that mapping and see what seem to be jamming. |
Maribeth Tidler 29.08.2012 | Can anyone point a mapping virgin in the right direction to sort this as well? I feel if I could understand how to fix this I might be able to get my head round other stuff! |
Ada Matzkin 17.08.2012 | so yah it actually looks like the tt stop effect is applied to deck A every time you press all 4 beat mashers , even when all 4 decks effects buttons are OFF. also the effects buttons on the mixer get stuck ON alot when changing decks etc...ive even had it totally kill the signal and have to manually click the effects off on the mixer to get the track to play audibly again.. halp |
