So far only ONE person has given a serious answer!
C'mon DJTT'ers! What happened to being helpful?
I digress

So far I only use two, somewhat mediocre, techniques:
1) I use a sample during transitions to a higher BPM song. I mix the build-ups together and add the sample like "Pump it up now... Pump it up now... Pump it up now" People can hear the energy building as the tempo increases. Then the new track DROPS DA BASSES and the people's heads explode.

~~OR~~

2) Right before the bass drops I press [PAUSE] on the song and simultaneously press [PLAY] on the sample "life is like a box of chocolates.... you never know what you're gonna get" Then when the sample is over I press [Play] and then DA BASS DROPS and the peoples fall over and have seizures.

Are you talking about in your DJ sets, or producing? Bit of a blunt question tbh.

Yeah, the question is just too vague.

Potential new threads:

How do you use sounds in your music?

What's the best way to DJ?

When do I turn the filter knob?

Pbcrazy, you get 2 cookies for putting more effort into your answer than the op put in his question.
