Reply to JBL Speakers - Studio? :)

I have a set of JBL speakers.

I'm building a studio in the next week, and em curious. I'm posting because I haven't seen or heard these speakers in 3 years, as they have been in storage. I remember them being in decent condition, and being LOUD. We have KRK 8's, but were looking for another, more standard reference. Watcha believe?
