Reply to Any tips/tricks on mixing electro House

I've been playing around with electro house, a relatively new genre to me, and was curious if there was any tips or tricks to mixing it effectively? I've realized mixing in between buildups and vocals right before a drop is useful. However, if I were to keep a constant flow going such as bass/dance section to bass/dance section, what could be a useful.

Whether it be hard mixing (Cutting straight to another track), or slow mixing (Slowly blending it together), any tips are appreciated.
