Question about Traktor Scratch A10
Posted on: 06.07.2012 by Lurline Dopler
Hello,

I'm believeing about taking the plunge and getting a timecode solution for my decks. There are too many songs out there that I want that I can't get on vinyl.

I was wondering if someone might be able to help me with some info.

I have 2 Technics 1210s and a Numark M6 4 channel mixer. I would like to utilise all 4 channels but just using the 2 decks.

Is it possible with Traktor Scratch A10 to control 4 virtual decks (and therefore 4 outputs from the audio interface to my mixer) using only 2 vinyl decks?

Also how easy is it to use the pass-through on the fly? As in could I play a set using vinyl I own plus MP3s?

Cheers gang!

Yep! If you want to use 4 decks DVS with only 2 Turntables just create a Focus Target Midi buton for DVS control.

Yes, an A10 will do what you want. It's easy to change the decks in the software from time code to live input when you want to play regular vinyl then back to time code.
