Changing the tune / melody of an acapella to match another track.

Hey guys, lately i've been making tons of edits for my sets and shit, and i sometimes find acapellas with lyrics that would perfectly match an instrumental, but they are in totally different keys, and the tones/melodies just start clashing and won't sound nice even though they would go well together.

I use ableton, you guys know of any vst's that would help me change the keys in acapellas, say from 2A to 6A without killing the voice.

To shift keys, I like L8's transpose feature. You can't do it by Camelot code so you'll have to do it by ear. In Beats mode, going from 2A to 6A would be 4 clicks to the right (I believe). It's a little more difficult in Complex Pro mode...the transposition is more granular so you'll have to listen closely to get it really precise.

As for changing the tune, like from major to minor (11B to 1A)... Never tried it but I wonder if you could do this in AutoTune. It might sound weird but I'm sure it can be done.
