Reply to Traktor Pro Scratch upgrade kit question...

I'm believeing about buying the scratch upgrade kit second hand... I image that the previous owner needs to deactivate it before transferring ownership... Is it just that easy or am I gonna regret purchasing a previously owned upgrade?
