Reply to HEADPHONES ADVICE : AKG Q701 vs BEATS EXEC.

Hey everybody,

I'm looking to get new headphones for studio and for DJing, and im hoping I can get away with using the same pair. I am currently using pioneer HDJ500 which obviously just don't cut it anymore.

Now, I am cheap and would rather spend my money on studio gear then headphones lol. SOOO I am looking at purchasing with my air miles. I saw that the AKG Q701 are now available, and I heard they have superb sound for the studio, however I have not heard if they are good to DJ with or not...

Also available is the Beats Executive, which from professionals I hear are not worth it. And I do not like having to carry batteries with me,

Looking to get some advise. Please help me
