Hi!

I'm planning to buy a set of Monitors, but I don't want to spend too much money on it.
I'm planning to use them more for DJ-ing than for producing.

So just as home-monitors for when I'm mixing at home.
I want them to be active, so no amplifier involved.

Any tips on that?

If you plan on doing any production you may as well have the tools to do both, I'll chime in and say KRK Rokit 6's, plenty of Ooph! unless your dj room is a barn and flat enough for some stupendous production.

DJ'ing at home with crappy speakers and trying to mix correctly is as bad as trying to produce on crappy speakers... you will only ever get a rough idea of how it should sound and never quite how it actually sounds.

24.08.2012		I'm gonna have to jump on the KRK Rokit RP6 or RP5 band wagon. Sound quality to price ratio is the best you gonna get.

24.08.2012		Personally I've got a pair of Behringer Truth B2031A's. Absolutely brilliant set of monitors.
The only other ones I'd probably go for are the KRK rokit RP6's.
