Any recommended Manhattan Record Stores?
Any recommended Manhattan Record Stores? Posted on: 28.08.2012 by Palma Hanslip So me and the girlfriend are heading over to New York for 3 evening
s for a break away. We will be checking out the usual places but she wants to check out some beauty places and I want to check out some places that sell vinyl.I have had a look and noticed that there are a load of record stores but from past experiences it doesn't mean they are good! I know there are quite a few of you guys close to Manhattan so have you got any recommendations for places to check out? I mostly spin tech-house, house, techno but really looking for some good old disco classics, maybe some hip-hop (Run DMC - Kings of Rock etc style stuff).. And also New Romantic (80's New Wave) stuff. Let me hear what you believe! | |

Randal Biza 28.08.2012 | For disco/soul/funk/hip hop I would recommend A-1 Records, also in the East Village. They have lots of 12" singles, which I like. There are a few record shops pretty close to each other in that area. http://www.yelp.com/search?find_desc...e%2C+Manhattan |
