Reply to Mold on controller

So, yesterday I took my X1 out of my gig bag and found it covered with mold. I'm guessing I packed it while still wet (the booth wasn't that clean, had some drink spills on it), and that was more than a week ago.

I believe it's still fixable, as the mold doesn't seem to have gotten beneath the buttons. Any of you got experience with this, and some tips to clean this without damaging the electronics? For the X1 bag (which is covered in it too), I though of washing it in a mixture of water, vinegar and soap. Vinegar is often recommended for washing funghi out of clothes, but I'm hesitant to use it on the X1 too..
