Reply to Buy/Sell Forum post requirement

I totally understand the need to weed out spam, but I really wish you could find another method to do so. I don't want to just post some useless crap to clog up your community s but I'd also rather be spending the time I am spending now looking for relevant places to post (where people have already responded with decent replies anyway) just to fill up an arbitrary 5 post count.
