Brunilda Kora 13.11.2013 | Remember Funky House from late 90's? I used to LOVE that stuff. Never bought ANY though. Don't even know any names of teh tunes I did love! (I'd recognise some of the Record Sleeves, though!) |
Lawana Mileto 13.11.2013 | It completely depends on what type of 90's dance music you want, which you haven't stated. Techno, House, Chicago House, New Jersey Garage, early UK garage, the list goes on. There's plenty of amazing stuff to find, and there were a lot of solid labels about. All you have to do is do some research, I'm not gonna spoon feed you. It's not hard to find out about who the big labels were then, and artists. Youtube it, google it, Wikipedia, there are so many resources. Laziness won't find you those gems. |
Edwardo Rothenberger 10.11.2013 | Traxsource do a Classic House genre where they are re-releasing loads of old stuff. A lot of it is quite U.S. style. I've got a couple of really good early 90's classic Garage tracks from there, if you like that stuff. http://www.traxsource.com/genre/12/classic-house |
Lakeesha Storman 11.11.2013 | start here after the itunes recommendation? http://www.beatport.com/search?query=90's+dance+list There are charts, tracks and releases. Find songs you like, then look at recommendations for others that have bought that song. trackitdown may have some of the songs as well. You can also try google music or pandora by starting with a radio station (paid only for google music I believe) that has a 90's dance tune you love. Once you get the songs, you can look for them online. |
Rolanda Clodfelder 11.11.2013 | +1 Itunes is cheap as chips for 90's dance compilations. |
Hipolito Scionti 10.11.2013 | I'm bored so gonna spoon feed you this one... Underground stuff or commercial. Loads on itunes an easily searchable Commercial stuff here https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/no...ce/id569476269 https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/an...nd/id574582647 There's some tat but also some classics here https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/bi...-2/id382818339 I also googled this http://news.beatport.com/blog/2013/0...nged-the-game/ I'd also search for classic house... defected "For The Love Of House" series is good imo Vol 1 https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/de...ve/id622520202 Vol 2 https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/de...ve/id640811356 Vol 3 https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/de...ve/id660115852 Vol 4 https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/de...ve/id708274956 You're welcome |
Antone Kazim 10.11.2013 | I've got loads of 90's dance music from Amazon (mp3 downloads), mainly trance and house stuff and mainly more towards the later half of the 90's. Again though you can't really browse them as a category as such, you have to type the name of the song/artist in and search, but there is quite a lot on there. Quick tip though- rather than go onto the amazon site and searching direct, do a google search for the track and pre-face the search with 'Amazon mp3' - that way it will take you to the page showing every remix/version of that song available, rather than just one specific version. I've got by purchasing all of my 'digital' music from amazon (I've not used Beatport!) and that spans several genres. Quite a bit of the older 90's stuff I still buy on vinyl however as there are simply not mp3 downloads available for certain tracks/remixes. |
Margie Pavell 09.11.2013 | I would suggest browsing the billboard dance charts from that era... I don't believe there is a dedicated site for it...you would have to know what you were looking for... |
