Edwina Fagel 02.11.2012 | Any recomendations for good cables for audio 8? Too busy to build some of my own at the moment. |
Armando Chrystal 24.04.2012 | By the way this weekend I head over to a friend of mines house and to my suprise he had these $200 Neo cables! I actually set him up at the club this weekend and few thing I must say about the cables first of all build quality is extremely nice. Each cable comes with a hard case which house a solid amount of cables. Another thing is the connectors quality is nice and connects really snug to the audio 8 and the mixer. Since the cable has a flat design it doesnt tangle up pretty cool. If I had the money I would deff scoop up a pair. |

Dorie Scelzo 11.04.2012 | Did DJTT just abandon their captcha? |
Danae Dumler 11.04.2012 | Jesus goddam crap, who the fuck comes up with this spam software? Do they actually sell any kitchen cabinets this way? |
Florentina Janks 11.04.2012 | Great information. The different guitar requires a different RCA cables. And the cost of RCA Cable varies from a length to length and quality to quality. My guitar has Basic 3.5mm to RCA Audio Cables which I bought from a ebay. It also has a splitter with adapter. |
Dorie Scelzo 10.04.2012 | An RCA cable is an RCA cable. To a great extent, at least. The shielding kinda sorta matters for vinyl (if they're long enough, the preamp can amplify radio interference enough to be audible) but the only times I've heard it was with a 20-foot unbalanced mic cable (don't ask, that was a bad day). It matters a bit more for digital cables. The way cables are physically built, you're basically putting a capacitor b/t your signal and ground, which acts as a low pass filter, depending on the impedances of the input and output you're using. Digital cables carry data at such a high frequency that this filtering can affect the data. But it's not a huge deal. It's nontrivial with long guitar cables, but a normal guitar cable is like 10-15' long. The difference between a cheap cable and something like George L's low-capacitance cables is staggering. But for a DJ, it's largely irrelevant. DJ RCA cables are like 2 to 6 feet long. Just stop worrying. If it coils nicely and isn't built of silly putty, it's fine. If it has easily replaceable connectors, that's a plus but not necessary. |
Danae Dumler 10.04.2012 | Yep I forgot about that - At WMC Pioneer was showing off a new line of "hi-fi" RCAs and other cables that will retail in the $100+ range. edit: yeah here they are http://www.pioneerdjusa.com/gear.asp...S-RCA020R&cp=7 |

Danae Dumler 10.04.2012 | Haha I believe we should have a sticky of audiophile silliness like the Machinica Dynamica stuff. I believe that guy is just taking the piss out of the whole industry, but he apparently makes sales. Truth be told, $189 is cheap compared to what some RCAs (I mean "interconnects") go for. You can spend upwards of $10,000 on six feet of RCA cable. They're beautiful, but unless they can change the laws of physics I don't see how they can improve sound quality over most other RCA cords (unless something is wrong with one of them of course). If it's well-insulated and made of right materials and doesn't fall apart easy, it's going to do the job. |
Glennie Gilger 11.04.2012 | That's OUTRAGEOUS |
Latina Samon 11.04.2012 | For the USB cable, why is what I imagine to be the better one (with 24k gold plating) called 'Class B' whereas the 'Class A' has silver/rhodium plating? |
Katy Rufino 10.04.2012 | My goodness... for the price of a pair you could buy enough cable, RCA plugs, plus the soldering iron and solder, to rewire your entire setup with custom length high quality cabling. http://www.hometheatershack.com/foru...wn-cables.html |
Vada Branyon 10.04.2012 | http://www.rjshop.nl/kenmerkoverzich...2/?AV=35:14748 These guys have a buy 1 get one 1 free deal for these cables at the moment. Maybe they send to the uk? |
Maryanne Weatherill 10.04.2012 | I was wondering the same thing when i saw those rcas in a scratchworx post. Any UK suppliers? |
Armando Chrystal 10.04.2012 | ya I thought they were gunna be more affordable |
Cliff Lohman 10.04.2012 | Lol.. I was shocked by those cable prices.. Wtf |
